Anyway, the collaboration between Marco Minnemann (who auditioned for DT and is now with his own band The Aristocrats), Jordan Rudess and Tony Levin (both were in Liquid Tension) has just been announced. MAybe they didn´t want it to seem like Liquid Tension part II, but then why adding guitars played by a drummer? Anyway, the first sample sounds awesom, can´t wait to hear the full thing! It would sound awesome, but too similar to Liquid Tension. Maybe Paul Gilbert or Vinnie Moore would be good choices as well. Gilbert has played with Minneman, and Moore has played with Jordan. Heck, even Trevor Rabin would be cool - he was the one meant to play in Liquid Tension to begin with, but couldn´t do it due to confllicts in schedule.
