Let The Fray Begin Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 This is one of my favorite Rush albums, and there are many, many deserving songs... but the one I like most is the title track, Roll the Bones.
rebel runner Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 This is my favorite Rush album. The lyrics and concepts are stellar. The game of life, excellent. I love the sound of Neil's drums on this. The way Geddy's bass is in time with Neils kick drum, gives it that extra punch. I wish they would've stuck to this sound for a couple of more albums, but I also realize the direction that music was heading in during the time of Counterparts, they had to do something heavier. I just have all around great memories from this album. I was just getting into the band right before this album came out, and my first Rush show was during that tour. "Pin the donkeys on her tail"

I know that his song was written in aim at the end of the Cold War, but I think it still applies to our new war against terrorism and all the wasted years caused by it. Mongo Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Bravado jsut cause the musical balance between Geddy's bass and Alex's guitar arpeggios over Neil's hi-hat quick wrist. (I'm pretty sure that hi-hat is done one handed.)
