EagleMoon
Musicians here can tell me if the bass in this song is as great as I've been reading: It's a real simplistic bass line. Octave 8th notes for the main riff.

Lorraine
98% of you here wouldn't understand what it was like growing up with The Beatles. It was like a member of your family that you grew accustomed to and could no longer be objective about because, well, they were always around and you were so familiar with them. Consequently, for most of my decades in this valley of tears, I could take or leave them as a band and certainly as individuals. Remember, I had to endure my little schoolmates running around in Beatles' hats with their Beatles lunch-boxes and their "I Love Paul" or "I Love The Beatles" buttons and the walls of their bedrooms papered with pictures of The Beatles torn from 16 Magazine. Only lately have I begun to realize that they were truly talented men.

Mystic Slipperman
I used to drive my friends nuts playing this over and over on the jukebox when it came out. I forget which song it was the flip side of the 45 to. "Band On The Run".

Was he the genius behind The Beatles? Maybe it was the combination of him and John. Hard to tell since it seems Yoko controlled John and did what she wanted him to do.

And found out camping was not quite for me.

John's solo career was pretty aimless. i almost felt bad, lol but together they were magic......difference is paul held onto some magic......john couldn't, IMO Mick

True i think. his song's on Double Fantasy showed he was coming back. but we know what happened so we'll never know. i'm not one who blames Yoko for everything but she was distracting john no doubt.
