I'm torn about these. I want to buy them but I can listen to them on Spotify and I already own this box set

Finally gave all three a proper listen.

(I only sprung for the 2 CD deluxe versions)

I really like the "new CD sound" that Jimmy Page is referring to.

Definitely "warmer" than their CD predecessors.

I was a little nervous at first while listening to the Zeppelin I disc "extras".

The first few songs (Good Times Bad Times/Communication Breakdown, I Can't Quit You Baby and Heartbreaker: Live in Paris, 1969) are so sloppy sounding.

I would have to be really high to properly enjoy them...and it would have to be 1969! :)

Quite frankly, I have better sounding bootlegs from those early days.

They are interesting simply as a part of the Led Zeppelin history.

Of course, from "Dazed and Confused" on out until the end of the second disc all was forgiven, as these songs really kick.

Bonzo's "Moby Dick" is just sick...damn!

The bonus discs on "II" and "III" are well worth the price of admission...some amazing nuggets in there!

All in all, they've got me craving the next three installments.

Didn't buy I but I did go for both II and III. I'm really, really enjoying III. I bought the III t-shirt too and it is wonderful. Super soft and the graphic is right in the fabric... When you rub your hand over the graphic, you can't feel it. High quality.
