A book called "Demon Tree" by Colin Daniel that was part of a series of horror novels called "Twilight". It was and is still one of my fave novels.

Morgan Freeman is connected with this oft-delayed project. He says it WILL be made eventually.

I never want good books to be made into movies, because movies so seldom do good books justice.

Though with that said, the coincidentally Rush-reference-laden Ready Player One by Ernest Cline could make a great movie if they did it right.

That is true. The most notable exceptions ever are the Lord of the Rings movies.

I also loved the film version of The World According To Garp.

a lot of great movies come from books. in fact, I'd say that most of them do. however, as far as being faithful to the source material, few ever do that

The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe

Life, The Universe, And Everything

So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish

Mostly Harmless

Only after they make The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy first...... :eh: :eyeroll:

Uh...they did?!

Anyway: Pompeii by Robert Harris

A Tale Of Two Cities- this book deserves a huge budget, faithful and well cast movie adaptation.

Fatherland, also by Robert Harris
