Yoko Ono Screams into a Microphone at an art show...people applaud...

To give some context: She's doing an exhibit which is scream at the walls, ceiling or floor (the 3 bullet points behind her). After giving her screaming like she's in a bad porn flick for 3 minutes she invited other people to do also scream at the walls/ceiling/floor.

I like the snicker she gives at the end. It's the snicker of "you idiots will applaud anything I do because I banged Lennon".

I'm just a student of science. What do I know about art? I'd like to hear your opinions on this. Is this really art?

My bad. This is something I learned of today. I checked the post date, it's from before I became active on the forum. So in my defence... :)

Don't worry about it. It's actually kind of ridiculous for the thread police to be nailing people for reposts of things that are 2 1/2 years old. I mean, what were you supposed to do? Search for Yoko Ono threads, see if any of them had that video, and them bump them? Then the same guy might give you grief for reviving an old thread. We need a little more good fellowship, and a lot less thread policing around here.

Yup. In any case, Yoko was shit then, now, and 40 years ago

Many people blame Yoko Ono for the break-up of The Beatles, but I've always liked her. Yes, she's overrated as an artist, but her output is prolific and she's an intriguing character. Edited by substancewithoutstyle

I don't blame her for breaking up the Beatles. And I don't blame her for being overrated. I blame her for being shit. :P

Thread police? Just pointing out the old thread since I remembered it straight away, and maybe OP may be interested in some of the original thread's posts. Yes, more fellowship, less douchery.. that's what's needed here.

So their child Sean should have lost both parents that night? Honestly? Disgusting.

Yeah, what was it Helen Lovejoy said about thinking of the children? Plus, as someone who just came back from a friend's funeral, I find it even more disgusting than I normally would on a personal level. Shame on RFF for such a cowardly response. :rage: :bitchslap:

Okay, I stand corrected!! I wasn't even thinking of Sean when I responded to this thread. My anger was towards Yoko, not Sean, but I know he was a child who needed his mom in that great time of despair. I would never purposely wish him to suffer more than he already was. My mistake!! Sorry if I offended anyone else (IA) , I'm deeply sorry....I'm truly a very nice person.
