Lost In Xanadu
He's giving Mass in Philadelphia, and I heard yesterday that all of the tickets to it (I don't know how many there were, but they were all free) were gone in thirty seconds.Maybe StubHub will come to the rescue. :laughing guy: Scalping for the pope. Oh boy... Since they were free tickets, and there wasn't even a 'face value'...shouldn't there be a special place reserved in hell for such mercenary behavior? Can't get them on eBay anymore... Thanks Obama! ;) http://www.phillyvoice.com/ebay-removing-listings-free-papal-tickets/ eBay removing listings for free papal tickets The online auctioneer says the listings violate its ticket policy

Lorraine
He's an Italian who grew up in Argentina. He lived in an apartment, and rode the bus. He is a Pope of the people. I love the choice. anti-gay and anti-abortion. do i love the new pope? nope. What did you expect? Changes like that take a while - maybe in 40-50 more years when all the old school guys aren't around to vote.If a pope ever does that, the Catholic Church can close up shop and go out of business. That's what in Catholicism is known as "Divine Law" - and no pope is ever above that. Just setting yet another misconception about the Church straight.

I'm not Catholic, but I think it's heresy that the Pope could come along and, in effect, say, "Naw, that's not what that means. It's really okay." I won't insert any of my own beliefs here, as I'm not trying to "start" anything. But if you proscribe to any particular faith, if you consider yourself a member of a church- then you uphold what that faith espouses. If you don't, then...you're not. And that holds true for anyone. Lay people and clergy alike. I'd you believe the word is the word, then...that's it.

Lorraine
A British newspaper is not the Catholic Church. Catholicism does not condone sodomy.
