Worst. Beer. Ever.

I dedicate this thread to TM who posed the question in the Jack Daniels thread.

My vote is for Schaefer (gone now...phew...). I used to insist it was made from potatoes and snail trails.

A great beer in that you could dig up enough $ between the couch cushions to pick up a case of the stuff.

But you paid a high price the next morning.

Nothing was worse than BEER. During the generic food craze, they came out with this garbage. In washington I believe it was the stuff that couldn't make the cut to be bottled as "Lucky lager". Horrible stuff...but cheap.

I have some bad ones, but this one tops them all. I am a bit of a beer advocate, beer snob, beer geek, what have you, and I loathe A-B products generally. But tried one of these just for the heck of it. Truly tasteless stuff. You think Miller Lite is bad, take a bottle of that and add 6 more ounces of water to it, and you will be close to the utter tastelessess of Mic Ultra

And many moons ago, Michelob had a good reputation, the original was a very tasty beer. Light beer was invented to get non beer drinkers("eeewww, I don't like the taste") into drinking beer, disguised as a low fat option.

I'm heading out with friends tonight to an Indian restaurant, Cobra beer with dinner, and a bath of Guinness afterwards. Tomorrow can go and f**k itself already. I know we are not going to get on.

I enjoy a Kingfisher with Indian food, too.

Colt 45 is pretty much undrinkable. Coors Light and Bud Light are corn-flavored water with soap suds on top.

Ooooo....you just got me to wrinkle my nose... Colt 45. That was a really crappy beer (malt liquor).

Good terrible call!

okay if you are bringing malt liqour into the equation, gotta give it to king cobra. Steel Reserve is pretty terrible. I agree with Michelob ultra as well.

I know many of you have very cultured tastes, and will dog on american beers. But let me tell you, on hot southern summer night fishing or hog hunting when its 80 out and super humid, cicada, crickets and frogs are making some noise, anything cold is good, whether it be busch, lonestar, PBR

I can appreciate really good beer but at the same time I have a hard time ponying up 12 bucks for a 6 pack of some hipster microbrew

I've drank this beer just once...and I'm glad

My neighbor drinks two thirty packs of this every weekend. He is going to die soon.

If he's drinking sixty bottles of THAT shit every weekend, trust me...he's already dead in all the ways that matter.

Yep. Every weekend. The funny thing is that he goes out both mornings and buys 1 30 pack. I watch him carry it in from my kitchen every Saturday and Sunday morning. The weird thing is that he doesn't do it during the week even though he doesn't work. Not sure why Monday through Friday are so special. I don't think that is normal alcoholic behavior.

I personally don't like beer in general except certain brands in specific situations.

"Gimme Natty Lite and I'll be alright!" Oh...the memories...or lack thereof.
