I was looking forward to your extreme metal list though :(

Oh shit, I forgot Extreme! Hooooole hearteddddd!

My real list wouldn't even be extreme though. My all time favorites are pretty standard stuff.....Rush, Kiss, Maiden, Budgie, Priest, King Diamond, BOC, Megadeth, etc.

If you don't love the BeeGee's song "Tragedy" you fail at life.

Not so much for me. However...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wRM-t7wvF0

Now you're talking. No jive.

This would be my second favorite by them.

So you probably love this then, right?

The Beatles

Rush

Van Halen (but not the Cherone era)

Black Sabbath (the Ozzy and Dio eras)

The Rolling Stones

The Police

UFO (the Schenker era)

Soundgarden

Led Zeppelin

Guns N Roses (the 1980s and 1990s versions)

The exact placement shifts constantly.

I would drop Zeppelin for AC/DC or Def Leppard.

10 is a pretty tight number. Aerosmith gets hurt by the Get A Grip forward catalog.

How much does Van Halen get hurt by the Sammy era?

I like those albums. Just not as much as the DLR era.

Like I said, 10 is very very tight. Top15 or 20 is manageable. Top 10 requires some hard choices. And I would bet around that time I had recently gone through a Zeppelin and UFO binge.
