Which Album Do You Love More? "Countdown To Extinction" or "The Black Album?"

I rarely listen to the same album two nights in a row but I love "Countdown To Extinction."

Personally I think this album is much better than Metallica's "Black Album."

 

What do you think?

I agree with you on St. Anus!! One of the worst records ever made on the earth!! Human shit sounds better coming out of an angry anus!

 

That scene in "Blazing Saddles" when all of the cowboys eat beans and fart sound better than that record!!!

 

Chainsaws cutting off my ears at the same time sound better!

 

One billion starving dogs barking for food in the middle of the night sound better than St. Anus.

Countdown is the much better album. I do like The Black Album though, the only really bad song on there for me is Nothing Else Matters. It's just goddamn awful. At least when Mustaine writes a love song he's got some darker, evil theme going on which is how all metal bands should write love releated songs. Not a f*ckin cheesey Bon Jovi ballad like Metallica did with NEM.

 

Overall Countdown is much better. Those first six songs are all great and Ashes In Your Mouth is better than any song Metallica has written over the last 20 years. The rest of the album is solid to but those first six and Ashes are the f*ckin shit :haz:

Alright, I can respect that. I gotta give it to Overkill cuz to me they've been pretty consistent throughout their career. They've always been the underdogs, but have stayed true to their roots, and the last few albums are fukking amazing!

Yeah yeah I know, but *that* production I hear you say, one day we may even get to hear a decent version. I'd start with Horrorscope then The Years Of Decay. If you like those pick up Taking Over, then the last two are awesome as well- Iron Bound and The Electric Age.

also, their last few albums have rocked.
