HemispheresserehpsimeH
Nothing shameful about enjoying Something/Anything?, or anything Todd Rundgren did for that matter. And thumbs up to whoever mentioned Tom Waits' Closing Time and Innervisions by Stevie Wonder. Maybe not for you, man, but... its pop... its pop. I feel so dirty...It's amazing pop. Besides, Rundgren has plenty of progressive music too. He's not just a pop artist. Can't be afraid to dive into it.

RUSHHEAD666
I know there's gonna be a few more amazing albums awaiting discovery for 1973 but so far this is what I got. A truly astonishing year for quality imo :o Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives of Henry VIIIPink Floyd - The Dark Side of the MoonLed Zeppelin - Houses of the HolyMahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of FireYes - YessongsYes - Tales From Topographic OceansBlack Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody SabbathMike Oldfield - Tubular BellsQueen - QueenElton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick RoadThe Wailer's - Burnin'The Who - Quadrophenia 1973 was EPIC. This goes back to a poll I wrote a year ago or so stating how from 1969-1979 was the best decade in all of musical genres! I must nominate Budgie's "Never Turn Your Back On A Friend" album from 1973. Seventies Music RULES! Nothing will ever touch it in my 44 year old mind.
