Babycat Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 A bunch of you were experiencing login problems earlier. There was a problem with the cookie setting on our end, which we've fixed. I wondered what that was about. I didn't even notice that it hadn't logged me in...I just panicked when it didn't give me the option to post anything...and then I realised I was still logged out You too?! Sadly, I find myself coming here a lot less in the last several days because it just doesn't feel like home somehow - if not, I'll surely get used to it. Mind you, it's still the same site and it looks nice, but after years of seeing it the same way, it just feels... odd. We will never be able to "bring back" the old TRF Original skin as you remember it. The layout of this board is too different. (If there was a way to do it, it would be way too time consuming.) The plan is to make a skin that at least replicates the old color scheme and uses the old Red Rocks board header (non-animated, though). The skins are on the back burner at the moment. The ones that still show up (like mine) still show because they haven't been edited since the upgrade. The problem lies with writing anything link or image based into a post, which includes sigs. If I were to edit my sig, I would be re-writing it to the database and it would disappear. The same thing with posted images and smileys. In the Caption A Random Image thread, all the pics that were posted before the upgrade still show up. If any of those old posts were to be edited, the image in that post would disappear. I do see a bracket right next to the Python pic that probably doesn't belong there. EDIT: I see what you mean. Just looked at your sig and the code is all funky looking, and very different than what we were used to on the last board. I'll try editing my sig a little later to see how it works (I haven't touched it since the upgrade). I was just demonstrating the smileys in a PM, I think I sent maybe 10 or 12 and it wouldn't send it, then when I reduced the amount I got a "no permission to edit" error message and it wiped out what I'd typed along with the smileys! :o Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
