D3strukt
There will be no R40. That would mean Rush is repeating itself. What is it that they never do? Repeat themselves. No R40. It's cheesy anyway. Edited October 9, 2012 by D3strukt

We would gladly call it something else if you'd like? Choose Wisely: The 40 Years Gone Tour The Arthritic Joint Juice Tour The Post Clockwork Angels Tour, Tour The Grab the Money and Run Tour The They'll Complain About this Setlist 2 Tour The Forget the Seventies Tour The 2112 - 98 Tour The All Instrumental (But we'll sing during the few songs that have lyrics) Tour The Where's my Voice Tour The Leave Those Songs behind Tour The Bimbo Tour The Main Honkey Business Tour (TM would like this one) The Mal-Wear Tour AKA(The They played in Depends Tour) A Farewell to Fans Tour I don't know but The R40 Tour is starting to sound pretty damn good about now. tangy
after being musically cornholed by the first set list many old timers think they should named this tour WD-40.....
bscsmkr
It will be a 2 or 3 day celebration in Toronto. No tour. Not a lot of big tours from here on out after this tour Just my opinion

You don't want to keep repeating yourself. But worse than that would be repeating yourself. Repetitively. You know, over and over. I think R40 is a natural. I predict it will fall between R39 and R41. The universe would fall to chaos otherwise. They may or may not tour. I keep my palantir hidden so I can not see such things. It hurts my brain when I look into it.

av450
Although I love Counterparts-CA, they haven't changed very much musically in the past 18 years. So they do repeat their self, but not in a bad way

jjgittes
Agree with schlappindabass. Am thinking they would do this in 2015 and celebrate the 40th anniversary of their two 1975 releases. First half of the show would concentrate on FBN and COS, second half is anything goes with the final number being, of course, A Farewell to Kings. Wasn't R30 in 2003? That would put R40 next year and won't they be doing the second leg of this tour? I am skeptical of R40 though I would welcome it.
