Really none at this point since 1981...

kind of all the 10+ Pearl jam shows too...

You just have to have a good time, take what you get, hope the band is feeling fine....and you're ready to rock

I know on this tour I'd replace at least 2 of any of the Power Window songs with another 2 albums of other choice songs....

Trees...would be one.....classic tale

territories should be cool

I also don't like hearing the songs I don't like.

Sometimes songs that I don't like turn into songs that I like after hearing them live. This has happened with at least one song on every tour I've attended. After seeing the Bristow show last weekend I believe there's a very good chance it will happen with several songs on this tour.

Closer to the Heart and Dreamline are really the only two that I can think to axe permanently. Within reason, of course. I know Tom Sawyer is a concert MUST, so it shall remain. Surprised to see Spirit of Radio got the noose though.

Don't know why I forgot Working Man!

Force Ten, Dreamline, Bravado, The Big Money, Red Sector A.

Agreed though I did enjoy The Big Money.

2112 should never be dropped .

I agree that 2112 should never be dropped. Never, ever, ever be dropped. To me, it's nothing short of the peak concert experience.

Working Man

2112

Closer to the Heart

Freewill

Force Ten (so many better, overlooked gems on this album, why this again?)

Manhattan Project

Show Don't Tell

Bravado

Animate

Stick It Out

One Little Victory

Faithless

2112 and Freewill? Blasphemy you say!

Well, 2112 just doesn't work for me as long as it is transposed down a step.... call me crazy, but I have perfect pitch and I'm weird about hearing any song done in a key different to the original version.

Freewill is, for some reason, played 1,000 times as often on classic rock radio as all the rest of the entire Rush catalog combined.

Now, they could play Subdivisions and Sawyer every night for 20 more years and I don't think they'd ever get old with me.

What are some songs you'd be perfectly OK with never hearing again in a Rush set list? My one friend would be perfectly content never hearing Closer to the Heart ever again.

I like Closer to the Heart tongue.gif

One Little Victory would be mine, it never quite caught on with me and there's better songs off VT anyway.

If it was 1985 and time was no issue, I would be happy if they gave these a rest:

TSOR

YYZ

Tom Sawyer

Bravado

But then I would probably like to see them brought back.

Still love the new setlist but am always eager for them to dig deep.

Sadly, time is running short.

(ok - bravado can go forever) smile.gif

My one friend (keyboard player) at the Pgh show commented that as far as he could tell, 2112 wasn't down-tuned.

As for Tom Sawyer, I also will never get tired of hearing. And if you watch Beyond the Lightest Stage, Neil says he'll never get tired of playing it.

Co-sign on Subdivisions

so you basically dont like Power Windows.

Least favorite Rush album by a long, long shot.

But, it was a joke.
