Godeater2112 Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 Hi everybuddy, Just wanted to say hello! I've been steering clear of TRF for the most part trying to avoid tour spoilers. Hell I even had to unlike RUSH on Facebook because they were posting tour spoilers! *gack* the nerve of whoever is managing their social media! But things are well, I'm getting very excited for my first show on the 21st and then my life can resume normal levels of paranoia instead of heightened ones! But then I was scanning credits and saw a few song titles. I was like, what the.. ohhh- video credits! DOH!!! Oh well, only remember seeing 3 songs, so not tragic. Man, it's dangerous out here. Sorry if THAT is a spoiler, but no one knows from night to night what might happen. It's driving everyone crazy and it is kind of fun when a noob shows up and gets his "brilliant" first post slammed down like a shot of rotgut, but that is nothing compared to the old time trolls being pelted with vitriol. I should go to my first show... buy a blank white t-shirt and a black sharpie... write the setlist on the front of the t-shirt... take a picture of myself wearing said t-shirt and post it in the "Post pictures of yourself" thread! I promise not to rub it in that this time tomorrow I'll be seeing the show in St. Louis. Seriously, I think when you get to see the band for the first time ever you will be amazed at how the DVDs can never quite capture the experience of being there. The thing you must try to do is remain in the moment. When I was young the shows I went too seemed to fly by so quickly. It is one of the reasons I started peeking at the set list.
