Snaked
1. Between Sun & Moon was played on the VT tour and went over horribly 2. Do you really want the 2012 version of Geddy Lee trying to sing Anthem? 3. Instead of Lock & Key insert Prime Mover and you're right on (it fits the CA concept) 4. A Passage to Bangkok was just played on S&A 5. Nat Sci is a great tune but it's been played a LOT recently 6. Swap Peaceable Kingdom for Vapor Trail 7. The Trees has been played a lot recently as well. 8. No TSoR and TS is completely unrealistic

Really, any song off of the first three albums other than Working Man, In the Mood, and maybe By-Tor would only work in a medley. Also, Between Sun & Moon, Peaceable Kingdom, and Driven that late in the second set would just seem weird to me. Would you REALLY want The Way the Wind Blows closing the second set? There's just no way. If Geddy from 21 years ago struggled to sing it, it's impossible now. Why do you think it was played just in a medley on R30? eshine
These fantasy setlist tweeks seem silly to me. They are obviously not gonna happen - and are usually not much of an improvement, as is the case here.

And you really say Where's My Thing is the worst song they have written? What are you ?? No really, I'd like to know. It is the worst they've ever written, I can't stand that song. I don't smoke marijuana and I never have tried any other drug, just some alcohol a few times, and some caffeine now and then too is good. I spend most of my time on boards such as this, studying, or doing some work for various websites if you must know. For those who didn't catch it, the ending of Set 2 version A / B contain songs from the 70's and the 90-00's since they didn't cover these decades much in the actual setlist. It's my personal creation so I don't expect everyone else to like it, of course. I think WtWB is a simply beautiful song and the best they've written in the 21st century still even after CA (with Headlong Flight / The Garden being tied) Edited September 10, 2012 by Mr. IsNot

xx2112xx
No, what I'm merely saying is that EVERY single opinion on this board is a subjective one, hence OPINION. You, correctly, say your personal creation setlist is your own, and therefore, do not expect everyone else to like it. Yet, you then expect everyone else to agree to a blanket statement that WMT? is the worst song they have ever written without specifying that this is strictly according to you alone. I was merely pointing out that I would bet cash that there are others who would argue the opposite. I then pointed out that such argument is pointless anyway, as I am stoked for my show in November regardless.

I didn't expect everyone to agree that Where's my Thing is their worst song ever. Sorry if I stated it as if it were fact, but this is simply a discussion about songs by Rush. If we were talking philosophy or politics where "Blanket Statement" is actually a relevant term, I would have been more careful.

Mr. Not
It's actually basic philosophical knowledge that all art is subjective so when we're talking about whether it is good or not blanket statements shouldn't even find their way into the mix. Ridiculous.
