fansince1979 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Not video, but high quality audio - http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=419552 Rush Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester, NH 2012-09-07 (Friday, September 7, 2012) Opening night of the Clockwork Angels tour Hobbes source: AT933 hypercardioid (3-wire) > CA-9100 > Edirol R-09 (24/44.1) Section 108 row K Sound was ok. Bit muddy. Seemed to improve after the first few songs. Much clearer on the recording - could barely decipher Geddy at the show. Sat next to super fanboy, the world's loudest clapper. . . mostly between songs. . . and a guy on the other side that really loved the new album. . . The recording also suffers from an intermittent buzz/hum during the first couple of songs. Think it's limited to the spots noted. Not sure what happened. Sorry. . . Some deep cuts, most of the new album, the big hits. A little for everyone. . . Setlist courtesy of Rush is a Band blog, I'm too tired. . . Converted to 16 bit and fades added with Audacity, cut with cdwave, rest with TLH. Just noticed after I started uploading that I screwed up the trackmarking starting at Headlong Flight. I missed the split for Halo Effect so those two are in one track. Then I had a stray track mark between Spirit and the outro video. Sorry again. . . too freakin' late to be doing this :-) Set 1 01. Opening video 02. Subdivisions (buzz throughout first 1:15) 03. The Big Money (slight buzz 0:40 to 1:00) 04. Force 10 (slight buzz at 0:37) 05. Grand Designs 06. The Body Electric 07. Territories 08. The Analog Kid 09. Bravado 10. Where's My Thing > Drum solo 11. Far Cry Set 2 with string section 201. Opening video 202. Caravan 203. Clockwork Angels 204. The Anarchist 205. Carnies 206. The Wreckers 207. Headlong Flight > Halo Effect 208. Wish Them Well 209. The Garden 210. Technical glitch (no keyboards) - Alex's joke 211. Manhattan Project 212. Electric drum solo 213. Red Sector A 214. YYZ 215. Working Man Encore 216. Tom Sawyer (Alex botches solo) 217. The Spirit of Radio 218. bad track mark . . . 219. Outro video Some kind soul may like this recording enough to remaster. Please let me know if you intend to post it. Hope you can reduce the clapper. . .

Shreddy Lee Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 Good find, I'll update with those now. Just a tip, when you guys find a video, check the uploader's account page. It's likely they'll have other songs up too.
Jomboni Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 They're playing awesome, Geddy is sounding great, and the crowd seems to dig the new stuff.
SchemingDemon Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I glanced through a couple of the videos (don't wanna spoil it too much for myself) and wow! Geddy sounds great! Call me a pessimist, but after the last tour, I wasn't expecting too much out of his voice
SchemingDemon Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 QUOTE (Shreddy Lee @ Sep 7 2012, 10:06 PM) Tom Sawyer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7ZXekOJAnI Alex just completely butchered the solo in Tom Sawyer right from the start Wow, that had me laughing H...how??? In a song they've played thousands of times since 1981?
Alchemical Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Holy sh*t! Geddy sounds amazing! I love that he isn't singing songs that strain the HELL out of his voice.
av450 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 8 2012, 09:20 AM) Holy sh*t! Geddy sounds amazing! I love that he isn't singing songs that strain the HELL out of his voice. I noticed that too. Hopefully his voice will hold up better this time
Hatchetaxe&saw Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 God, The Garden looks and sounds fantastic. Goosebump city.
tangy Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 just watched YYZ and IMO the strings did not add much to the song. obviously the sound quality is not great so i will reserve final judgement. to those in attendance, which non- CA song was embellished the best by the strings?

ShowgunSam Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 MickAv8r's videos are the best quality I've seen, so far. I'd start replacing some of the links with his.
