GUP1771
QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 8 2012, 03:12 PM) Alex solo + Halo Effect! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm9E6O7eY6E Not gonna lie, Halo Effect sounds amazing live...I may bump it up a few spots on my song ranking for CA. Everything was great except I was bummed a bit by the solo in Halo Effect. From what I could hear, not much of it cut through the mix and Alex also didn't play with the mandolin (or whatever the instrument he used in the studio.) But otherwise I was really impressed with the song as well as Alex's solo before it.
Rushman14
QUOTE (av450 @ Sep 8 2012, 07:38 AM) QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 8 2012, 09:20 AM) Holy sh*t! Geddy sounds amazing! I love that he isn't singing songs that strain the HELL out of his voice. I noticed that too. Hopefully his voice will hold up better this time maybe thats why the set is heavy with 80s era songs. easier on his voice.

CygnusGal
Lower balcony, Geddy's side view. My camera work is little shakey since I was standing the whole time. Bernard Shakey is a fellow countryman and his work is very influential, eh? It does smooth out a bit though. Wish Them Well - Section 119 Row J I'm in the process of uploading others. Shreddy Lee
Just heard Geddy say before Working Man "this one you might recognize" I guess some of the crowd must have been a little confused with the first set. Actually, could even have been the second set too, now that I think about it. Old, rarely played songs and a new album... people who don't know the band very well were in for a rude awakening last night.
