I think what youll miss is that its a f-cking great song, one of their best, from their best album, and it wont get played. But Bravado will be. Fail.

I'm not that huge of a fan of it. I do actually prefer Bravado.

The big thing for me is that I'm going with 3 other people, my brother and 2 of my friends.

Limelight is my brother's favorite rush tune, same with one of my friends.

The moment of unity is what I'm going to miss most.

I happen to love the set list. Is it the 25 songs that I would have chosen? Of course not, but then again they didn't ask for my input, did they?

I can't wait to see Analog Kid, Grand Designs, Territories, and CA in Chicago next week.

There have been rumors of some rotating songs, so 7 Cities and BU2B lovers may get their wish...probably at the expense of HE and WTW.

Just got back from Manchester. I feel like they picked my younger brain and said "yes, let's play those songs"

Unbelievable!

I'm in love. I was dying with the first set with pure joy and shock. Plus, it included and impromptu drum solo in the middle of Where's my Thing which was awesome!!

The strings were a really nice compliment and not weird or overbearing.

Tons of new pyro and lighting tricks 1022.gif

Tad disappointed in the encore but definitely a crowd favorite.

IT WAS SO GOOD.

Check out the setlist in the picture....notice Limelight is crossed out of the encore. Perhaps that was from tonight, and was crossed out due to the band running a little late starting the show?? confused13.gif

Piss on you nay-sayers!

I'll take your tickets!!

They were lean, fit, and rocked it like 20 year olds!

Amazing concert!

Hey Hermy, you had a look of the setlist. Was either Losing it or Jacobs Ladder listed anywhere on it?

Were people getting emotional during The Garden?

Rumor is about 2,000 people were crying. The rest were hugging and holding each other. Many weeped

Yes, the crowd got very emotional unsure.gif

On a positive note, I'm very happy with how well-represented CA is.

Clockwork Angels the song is gonna be so awesome!

Totally. If I had to nitpick the CA section I'd swap Caravan for Seven Cities. I like Caravan but since we already got that and BU2B last tour and have them on dvd I would have preferred Seven Cities and I like it even more anyway. But that's a minor, minor complaint. The whole thing looks awesome to me.

I certainly was. Ged introduced it as "a song very near and dear to us." Alex played the piano section and the strings were perfect. Definitely a highlight.

What the hell is crossed out in the encore in the setlist seen in the photo of Ged's keyboards that the Rush Backstage Club Tweeted?
Photo

It's one word, either Limelight or Freewill, counting the letters across from above and below.

TOM SAWYER

LIMELIGHT

Definitely a high point. Some of the cheering was for the song, which sounded great, though there was some low-level feedback squealing through much of it, sadly.

Some of the cheering felt like "This is the last song from CA, so thanks for playing SO MUCH of the new album."

It was the highlight for me.
