That following the CA tour 2.gif might release two new unrelated songs prior to their next tour like they did with Caravan/ BU2B on TTMT. Do you think its a good idea or bad.

I think it would be "Better than Nothing"!

They also added that they were consierding playing the 2112 suite once again. One thing for sure CA isn't their last tour! I think we'll get an R40 Tour after all!

Do you think these two songs were previously recorded during the CA session and didn't really coincide with the Clockwork Angels Concept?

hmmm?

The thought of that just made me very, very excited.

Yeah, I as well. Just to think that there may be two unrelated songs out there recorded during the same session as CA sounds very, very intriguing.

Creating new material is never a bad idea.

Unless it's T4E.

You mean SnA right? laugh.gif

Who said what about Vapor Trails?

I think that or hope that this might be a similar situation to when they made Permanent Waves and then almost directly after the tour they went in and recorded Moving Pictures because they felt they were on a creative high. It would be amazing if they could write some songs during this tour and maybe have a new album by the end of 2014.

It would be pretty cool to have a new album prior to R40.

Alex said it would be INTERESTING TO HIM if Rush released songs unrelated to ANY album prior to a tour.

Classic example of Alex word vomiting in response to a question. Nothing to see here.

Yeah, I never read it but that is exactly what it is. Alex says all the stuff that he wants to do and Geddy does all the stuff that he wants to do. smile.gif

Something tells me...

2014 = R40 = (possible) Farewell Tour.

I hope not. But at this point, its a good way to go out.

40 years together is a feat very few bands can say they accomplished. And as far as bands having the same exact band members all 40 years, well....has that EVER been done?

(And I know about Rutsey...it doesn't count. Neil, Geddy, Alex all 40 years)
