Seems like more and more cars are going to the push button...

My wife's car is a traditional key crank. A coworker has a Jaguar that is a traditional key, but it really doesn't "crank" - it just activates the ignition switch. Another coworker has a BMW and he needs to put a key in and then press a start button. With my car, I don't even need to take my keys out of my pocket, it senses the fob and I can start with a button.

We own Dodge ram n Durango here. Tried to talk Diane into a remote start for when we have a couple feet of snow. Her reply? That's when YOU come in real handy Bob. Thanks. A lot.

Does anybody "roll down" the windows anymore? or do all modern vehicles have power windows?

I have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and a 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Both have a regular key, but have remote start.

My father in law has a Caddy SRX, and he just has to have the fob in his pocket and push the button.

With my 2010 BMW X5, I can just leave the fob in my purse and push the button. However, with our older 2003 model, you need to insert the key into the ignition. So on the odd occasion when I have to drive "hubby's car, I get in and I'm like "what the hell?"

(Not used to driving my old car anymore....so sad...)

My truck- a Ram 3500 dually, has a fob and push button. Had another truck with a remote start but I hated it because it always seemed to be sitting there just running.

Used to have a MG Midget though, that had to be parked facing down an incline because usually the only way to start it was to get it rolling and then to pop the clutch. That was a fun car!
