Has anyone downloaded it yet. $19.99?? Is it worth it? Just listened MP on the BR 96/24 and it is my go to crank up when the wife is out. I do have a nice 5.1 setup and just wanted to see if anyone else has bought it.

I did buy it and determined it is the same mix as the CD I already had, so I don't think it was worth the additional $20. Sonically there is just not that much of a difference.

Not that you asked, but of all the versions I've heard I far prefer my vinyl copy.

I agree the vinyl sounds better.

At first I thought is sounded no different and that the sound stage was narrow with a lot of mud. Problem was, I had done a calibration on my system prior and it set my full size fronts to roll off at 450Hz and my center to roll off at around 170...why I have no idea.Basically sending anything below that to my sub. So here i am trying to adjust my mids with the built in eq but since they had a high roll off, anything i tried to adjust below 450 was nulled out by the calibration settings.

So I set my fronts to 80Hz (THX) and my center to 90 and Presto. I also tweaked the built in eq and now it sounds 1000% better

They are Flac files so you will need to convert. Try XACT - with it you can save as WAV, mp3 etc... and import into iTunes.
