"On September 27. 2009, during the Madison Square Garden stop on Blink-182's summer reunion tour, Pete Wentz confirmed that their performance that night would be their [Fall Out Boy's] last before they set off on an indefinite hiatus. On October 5, 2009, the band released a statement that they would be releasing a compilation of all their past singles as well as two new songs titled Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits on November 17, 2009. One of the new songs was confirmed to be the full version of "Alphadog", a track that was previously released as a demo on the Welcome to the New Administration mixtape. The album artwork, created by Daniel Danger features two skeletons hugging, a reference to the skeletons found outside of Mantua, Italy who were found buried together while locked in an embrace. There are also numerous references to the band's career. On his personal blog, Pete Wentz confirmed that a DVD would be included with the release which features easter eggs for fans as well as every video they've ever made with commentary by the band."

The Cure? I've heard about them, probably heard a few songs on the radio over the years. I might pick the deluxe version up when it comes out.

Very cool, I have been waiting to pick up this one for years until a remastered version came out like their previous works. I have the double cd remasters of Seventeen Seconds, Faith, Pornography, Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, and Head On The Door, and really want to add Disintegration to my list.

My Chemical Romance - TBA

My Chem's album is expected to be released late this year - I've heard fall, I've heard October, not sure when, but they're definitely writing.

A year and a half later, we finally have an album title and a release date. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is due out November 22. It's been a long wait but judging by the first single from the record, it'll be worth it.

Also, Kings of Leon are releasing Come Around Sundown on October 19. I haven't heard either of their two newest records but I figured I'd at least give it a listen, and buy it if I feel like it.

Other than that, I'm still waiting on some news from Radiohead. I'd like to say that the lack of response from them means that they're working on the record, but we'll see.

Jon Anderson & Rick Wakeman - The Living Tree...sometime this year
Jon Anderson - New Album (2011??)
Yes - New Album (?)
Asia Feat. John Payne - Americana
Dream Theater - New Album 2011

[Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman] You know, I used to get so excited when these two would do anything. Now, I hate to say it but I am predisposed to believe that it is going to be boring and without the magical melodies that they were capable of in the past. I will give it a listen, but I know it's going to be dull. The Living Tree-god, it screams new age to me.

Jon Anderson posted some of the songs on his Facebook. The title track for The Living Tree is weird, and kind of out there. I will still buy it though to support them. I wish Yes would let Jon rejoin. Without him, there's no Yes.

Boston - New Album

Tom Scholz said on Boston's site that he is working on a new album and its been going slowly (like usual), and there will be a few surprises. It should be released sometime this year or in 2011 (yeah right).

Lets hope that its better than Corporate America (aka Corporate Crap). We'll know in 10 years when its finished.

I think it can be good if they get Fran Cosmo back on vocals (like on Walk On, a good album), I can't stand those two new guys.

Revised:

Big & Rich - TBA (no date, but Big Kenny has mentioned it twice now, and their last record came out in 2007, so I'm sure it's sincere.)

blink-182 - TBA (expected sometime around May.)

The Decemberists - The King is Dead (leaked a few days ago; officially out January 18.)

Dr. Dre - Detox (no date, obviously, but an album single has been officially released, so there is hope...)

Lupe Fiasco - Lasers (March 8.)

Panic! At the Disco - Vices and Virtues (also March 8... two albums that I'm excited about on the same day. biggrin.gif)

Radiohead - TBA (sometime in 2011.)

Added a few and dropped Rush since that seems to be in 2012.

For those who may like bluegrass/country:

http://thegreatdividemusic.com/

Apparently he's been working on this for years. I'd heard rumors of it for quite awhile, but never thought it would actually come to fruition. Not my favorite genre of music, but will check it our when released.

I never really listened to bluegrass, but because its Tommy Shaw, I'll check it out. I listened to snippets of songs on his facebook and it sounded interesting.

Revised once again:

Big & Rich - TBA (no date, but Big Kenny has mentioned it twice now, and their last record came out in 2007, so I'm sure it's sincere.)

Black Cards - TBA (this is more guessing than anything, but I'm sure that since they have two finished songs out and have been doing shows that it'll come out this year)

blink-182 - TBA (expected sometime around May.)

Patrick Stump - Soul Punk (sometime in February, according to his last update)

Radiohead - TBA (sometime in 2011.)

Added Black Cards and Patrick Stump.
