2011 has been a great year for music but what are you looking forward to hearing in 2012?

Personally, I'm already excited by the prospect of a new Marillion album, as well as the h/Barbieri release and Gazpacho's "March of Ghosts" (scheduled for release on 27th Feb).

I can't wait for those 3, especially Marillion.

I suppose the new Rich Barbieri release is something to look forward to. Tyler the Creator should be releasing his third album, "Wolf", next May/early summer. Instrumental hip-hop, FTW.

One of my most anticipated is Garbage. I think it's been 7 years or so since their last record. From the previews I've heard it sounds like classic 90's Garbage. They are one of my fav bands from the 90's. Last I heard release date was mid-May. Edited by presto123

The Fixx will be releasing a new album entitled "Beautiful Friction" on July 17, 2012. From the sound of the samples, it sounds like a winner even though it's produced by a guy named Nick Jackson. Stephen W. Tayler was back on the ship for the recording of the album. unsure.gif

Genesis fans, read and weep (with joy): http://www.hackettsongs.com/blog/steve90.html

For an idea of how his first Genesis Revisited album sounded, try: www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-lUbhLIgVw

Cool beans. I had no idea this was happening. The first iteration was pretty decent. I will definitely be picking this up.
