My friend gave me these today for free:

Aerosmith - Nine Lives
" " - Done With Mirrors
" " - Get A Grip
" " - Big Ones
" " - Permanent Vacation

Are they any good?

Big Ones and Permanent Vacation are.

Today I've just bought "In Rainbows" - Radiohead and "Moon Is The New Earth" - Rose Hill Drive. On top of that I've ordered Diamond Head's "Living On Borrowed Time" and "Canterbury", together with the remastered copy of "Obessions" by UFO.

If you like or love SOAD, you'll dig this. On the first spin i was feeling it. Daron Malakian plays everything except drums, which are handled by SOAD's great drummer John Dolmayan. I think I'm ready to put Daron in the musical genius catagory. Exploding/Reloading sounds influenced by FNM with just a dash of Zappa. Most songs have that in your face SOAD feel, of course. Awesome guitar work. Recommended! 1022.gif
