CDs were $3 each, vinyl was $1. Does this only take place in Portland where you are? Yes. It's a local organization benefiting a local chain of libraries. The sale is from what people donate...used books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, vinyl, VHS, anything. You'd be surprised what people throw away. I actually saw like four Rush albums in the vinyl section, but I didn't get them because they were ones I already had on vinyl.

And enjoy Duke; it's an amazing album start to finish. Okay, I finally got it Friday... I had listened to it before on Napster and I liked it so much I had to buy it. I listened to it through and decided there's one song I don't like. The song is called Please Don't Ask... Otherwise, I think it's their last truly great CD. I thought Abacab and Mama/Shapes/Genesis/ST were good, Invisible Touch and We Can't Dance weren't very nice to my ears when I listened to them, but I kind of liked Calling All Stations, it was very different. Much more guitar heavy. Oh, and something interesting: my dad has Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, A Trick of the Tail, Wind and Wuthering, And Then There Were Three, and Duke on vinyl. He thought Duke was pretty bad, so he never listened to it. I actually saw a sticker that said "50 cents" and I said "Wow, you got this for 50 cents???" and he said "No, we had a garage sale." Two things ran through my mind: 1. Why would you sell Duke? 2. Why would you not buy Duke? But at least it wasn't scratched. It played wonderfully
