vaportrail
QUOTE (The O' Sullivan Factor @ May 18 2007, 07:01 PM) QUOTE (Kudzu @ May 18 2007, 05:37 PM) QUOTE (The O' Sullivan Factor @ May 18 2007, 03:36 PM) Porcupine Tree - Deadwing my first PT album; I'm just turning it on now Oof. I wouldn't have started with that one, personally. That being said, "Lazarus" has got to be one of the best songs of the past three years. Which one would you have recommended then? It's a fine one to start out with. In Absentia is a good one too. Or Fear of a Blank Planet.
The O' Sullivan Factor
Yea I finally found some time to sit and listen to the album. I'm on "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here" and I can already say this' some of the finest music I've ever heard.
PuppetKing2112
So today I was looking at the "2 for $10" rack at my local generic department store, and they had mostly terrible stuff, but right behind the Best of Foriegner or something were Zenyatta Mondatta and Ghost in the Machine. So I just scored two Police albums for $5 each. Sweet.

PuppetKing2112
Oh, I'm not in any way new to these albums...I have had them burned for years, and I have them on vinyl. But now I own them legitimately on CD. But all 5 Police albums are essential. One of the best bands of the 80s for sure.

I like the '90s stuff more...although I will say that "Lightbulb Sun", "Trains", "Lazarus", "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here", "Anesthetize", and "Sentimental" are all awesome songs.
