Well I just listened to Part I for the first time. I really liked it. I’m actually amazed by the production, they’ve managed to practically replicate the sound of a 70s recording studio!

That Yellowcard album is classic. And you got some gems from Katy, Gaga, and Good Charlotte.

Some high school friends and I took a trip to Rochester, NY, to visit our friend, and to celebrate mine and another friend's upcoming birthdays. The first thing we did in Rochester was visit Needle Drop records. I walked out with four records. three of which were gifted by my friends.

Motion City Soundtrack - My Dinosaur Life (Green Marble)

Save Face - Another Kill For The Highlight Reel (Gray Marble)

The Offspring - Smash

The Offspring - Americana

I spun all four of them, plus another Offspring album in my collection, after I got home on Sunday.

Nice! I've been to a few places up in Rochester, but not that one. Ever been to Record Archive? I've bought a lot of cheap used cds there. Or Buzzos in Geneseo? The place is still run by the same madman from the 70s who will openly make fun of your choices.

I haven't been to either of those yet. I'll have to check them out next time! I chose to check out Needle Drop because they had a lot of new punk records

Finally got a record player set up last week so I went to a local antique mall. Some people wanted way too much for 40 year old records in awful shape, but I found a couple good ones for $4.

Kansas - Leftoverture

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours

My gf also gifted me a cheap copy of Metallica - Ride the Lightning from Walmart

That’s the way to do it! Bargain bins and gifts!
