Robin Trower - The Playful Heart

I just saw Robin Trower a few weeks ago, I could have sat there and watched him play all night, it was kind of mesmerizing.

The Playful Heart is a superb album. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And he's always fantastic in concert, as is his band who have played with him since the 80s albums of Passion, Take What You Need, etc. Hope you enjoy!

Visited East Village yesterday and picked up Neu! 2 by Neu! Porcupine Tree covered their song Hallogallo on the Insignificance CD (now Disc 2 of Signify), although that song was on Neu's first self titled album.

Reckless Love - self-titled debut "Cool Edition"

Crazy Lixx - New Religion

Crashdiet - Generation Wild

The Poodles - Performocracy

Dynazty - Bring the Thunder

Great modern 80s-style/influence rock coming out of Sweden!

"When You Left the Fire" by The Wilderness of Manitoba (aw, I love them)

My friend made me a free copy of "Born This Way" by Lady GaGa (I'm ashamed, but he wanted me to listen to it. WHY?! I don't know)

While on my recent trip, I stopped by a few stores and got all of these.

Brad Paisley - This is Country Music

Morrissey - Southpaw Grammar

Public Image Ltd - The Greatest Hits So Far

I also got a 7" vinyl single of Morrissey's "First of the Gang to Die".

it's catchy. doesn't really have much in the way of musical or artistic value, but it'll get your head nodding even if you hate it.

Er... not for me. And I listened to the album with an open mind.

Ehh, IMO her first two albums were better.
