guess you missed my posts where i said i like tai shan, high water, and dog years. 3 songs that a high majority of people would call filler or total crap.

So you like those three more than The Wreckers? confused13.gif cool10.gif

And you LIKE the Dog Years chorus, when he stretches DOG out to two or three syllables? And the lyrics?

DO-O-OG years

It's the season of the itch

DO-O-OG years

With every scratch it reappears

At least be consistent! tongue.gif

The word contrary is too technical to sound cool. It's not exactly a word a lot of bands use, and for good reason. You sound like you're trying so hard to look smart when you use words like that in pop rock songs.

Oh okay, thank you for clearing that up.

What a silly and overreaching criticism, especially when talking about a Rush track.

No one complained when Ged sang about the goings on in a dog's brain.
And now we know about the "constant blur of low-level static"

That was a tongue-in-cheek song to begin with, and its lyrics are actually pretty clever.

"Tounge-in-Cheek"

Tounge firmly planted in cheek when I referenced that "no one complained" about Dog Years lyrically.

The Wreckers is a great tune, one of my favs from the album. I'm not sure I understand why some find it cheesy.

I'm happy they chose The Wreckers. I was in love from the first time I heard that chorus.

Yep, me too. I love this song. The chorus gets me everytime.
