Anyone one have an extra for sale?

I wasnt sent the presale details until 3 hours after the onsale.

so, I am trying multiple times a day looking for a release of new seats.

but if anyone has an extra, for a reasonable price, I can buy the beers.

Nobody got good seats for Tampa when tickets first went on sale.

I was looking the second tickets went on sale and never even saw a ticket in sections 1, 2, or 3...I've got decent seats in section 5, row N.

My theory is that they hold the first 3 sections for scalpers and the casino next door.

I suggest waiting until a few hours before showtime. I've seen amazing seats available shortly before showtime...although they were at other venues than Tampa.

Tampa is frigging nuts. Went all the way from Canada last tour, figured I could just buy tickets from scalpers on the way in? Not a chance! Was lucky the box office still had some lawns left!

Good on Tampa.

We liked Tampa!

How about that Tampa show on the TM tour?? I realize it was the end of the first leg of the tour, and they were well oiled but Mr. Alex Lifeson was on fire that night, and for some reason there was a noteable spike in female attendance! Cant wait for the CA show in Nov, and i guess i was a lucky one, got two good seats in front row of second section, see yall there!

Alex was indeed on fire that night. I went to WPB the night after (my sons very first Rush show ever) and they were not as good as Tampa.

Everything clicked in Tampa on leg one. Everything.

Anyway I was able to score 2 ORCH seats on the MT presale on a plane 2 hours after the pre-sale started. I kept plugging away, never stopped. Then they popped up. Also grabbed 2 section 5 seats row E for 2 of my other buddies road tripping with me to the show.

You can score good seats if your persistent, lucky and then the week of the show, smart.

Anyway I agree about the city itself. Don't like it at all. I just drive up (from Lauderdale) get to the Hard Rock, party, go to the show, party after..have a good breakfast...go home. Tampa is....not the best place in Florida. Far from it. But the crowds are always great, the show is loud, packed and yes..more good looking females attending than at a normal Rush show. wink.gif

Tampa was awesome!

The casino was great, barely remember getting back to the hotel.

The hotel was great, pre-party by the pool meeting people and listening to RUSH all afternoon.

Wild Wings was awesome. Orange spandex booty sitting on my lap pointing out which ass from their calendar was hers, what a riot that place was! Dirt cheap too.

Pre and post party with so many Rush fans including people from the forum was amazing!

Concert was amazing! Gave the tour shirt off my back to a broke Rush fan vet before stumbling home and smoking a big spliff with some Rush fan strangers before partying by the pool until 3am...

And that is just what I remember! We had a great time there.

Man we should do that all again!

Why all the hatin on Tampa? Its a great place to live imo, but to each is own I guess. All the Rush shows ive seen in Tampa since they got back to touring with Vapor Trails have been exceptional for some reason. A november date is perfect for an outdoor concert in Florida, and the venue is really good here. So anybody thinking about traveling to see a show cmon down! If you can get a ticket that is

Hardly. Try getting from Temple Terrace down 56th to Hillsborough. It's a f***ing nightmare.

The entire city is grimy, always under construction and there is crime everywhere.

Also no one knows how to drive, at all.

Obviously this is a bit silly. I love visiting Orlando and would have no problem living there but the traffic there is clearly worse than driving down 56th st. I have lived here most of the time since I was 6 and have been to a lot of places throughout the US and Tampa is no worse than anywhere else. I prefer it because of the combination of weather, things to do, and cost of living. A lot of cheaper places to live just don't have much going on and the places that are busier are a lot more expensive. The worst thing we have to worry about weather wise is hurricanes and you always get 2-3 days notice on that. Ask the people in Kansas or California if they would like a warning about tornadoes or earthquakes.

cant relate D3, live in s.tampa, and work close to home. neighborhoods are very nice, and crime is not an issue. Orlando is fine but given the choice the bueaty of Florida is living on the coasts, near the water ill give you the road construction, and lousy drivers, but where in Florida is that not the case?

I'd be willing to split 2 good tickets with you. I don't currently have them (long story), but can go the Stubhub/Premium route.
