Bravo to CERN and the LHC crew and staff!! Huzzah to the standard model theory of the Universe

Thing about this Higgs Bosun particle...what good is it? What difference is it going to make? What does it mean? Is it going to propel us into a new dynamic paradigm or is it just a "physics" moment that will go right over our heads and make no difference to anything?

We've taken this topic to another level at Video Vertigo: The Big Bang Theory.

If nothing else, two things may happen.

1) It will force us to re evaluate General Physics at all levels and

2) The boys, and maybe even a couple of the girls at TBBT will deal with this subject in a series of, or at least one, episode.

People said the same thing when electrons were discovered. Reaping the benefits of this new discovery will take time - perhaps a long time.

Quantum physics has only just begun. For all we know, in 200 years, we'll have unlimited energy.....all due to the discoveries happening now..... 1022.gif 1022.gif
