I did a search on it and it's short for "Quoted for truth"

 

These damn kids and their internet speak old.gif

 

The main reason Carnies is the most metal song on the album is because that riff has just a little bit of evil in it firedevil.gif Headlong Flight is a close second but it doesn't have that touch of evil in it so therefore cannot be metal no.gif

It has to be BU2B, just because of the intro. There's not much even close to metal on this album. That intro is the only part I would say could be metal, but then it goes into the chorus which isnt that heavy at all, so its really just that 1 riff.

 

The rest of the album is a mix of soft/hard, with nothing else I would really call metal.

Seven Cities of Gold is the only one to have a type of metal in the title.

I always laugh at topics like this. I'm a big metal fan and to me Rush isn't metal. They've never been metal. I don't mean this as some put down. Hell, they're my favorite band and have been for 30 years. They just aren't metal to me. In many ways, they are better.

 

I say that as a huge fan of heavy metal. 1022.gif

 

 

 

 

 

But a bigger fan of 2.gif!
