The Owl Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Just a fun thread, given the story of Clockwork Angels, it might be cool to see a film adaptation....it most likely will never happen but it is fun to contemplate..... granted this is just for the characters as presented in the album, there might be more characters or hane a different view of characters once the novilazation comes out, and it might be fun to redo this thread again when that comes about...but for now cast you version of a CA movie.. heres mine... Protagonist (Young): Richard Madden (from Game of Thrones) Protagonist (mid age): David Thewlis (spelling?) The Anarchist: Cilian Murphy The Watchmaker/pedler: Rhys Ifans Trapeze love interest: Emma Stone or Natalie Portman are the only 2 I have in mind right now So thats all we have for now, im sure once the novel is out we will have several other supporting cast Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

trenken Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 My gf insists Neil looks like Tom Hanks, and since I think in some ways this story is about Neil, or at least sort of how he sees things from what we know of what he's written and all the lyrics over the years, so Tom Hanks should play the older protagonist, possibly with his son, who is also an actor, playing the young one.
