I think its the best since Counterparts. I like every album except the debut more than this, up until T4E which was a dull piece of shit, so its better than that, VT and S&A, but thats about it.

dull piece of shit, much like yourself rofl3.gif

Insulting another for not liking Rush enough. The action of a true fanboy.

SIGNALS- in my humble opinion is the last "great" album/cd by RUSH...

I think most of them afterwards are NOT as great as this RUSH cd

What is your last CD that was your favorite RUSH CD?

CLOCKWORK ANGELS IS RIGHT BEHIND IT AT THIS POINT...BEST SINCE 80'S

OPINION!!!!

Well Signals Was my last favorite RUSH CD. However. I feel Clockwork Angels is better than Signals too.

For me, Presto.

Rush had an incredible run up until HYF, which was just...tired.

Then they took a break and a welcomed sidestep with Presto, which was more stripped down and heavy on melody. It also brought Alex back into the fold. It's also Geddys best album as a vocalist to date.

Since then, it's been good, often great, sometimes not so great.

Clockwork Angels is without a doubt on par with the best of Rush's output. Start to finish.

Ask me today, I'll say since Moving Pictures. Ask me tomorrow, I'll say since Vapor Trails. Either way - a solid work that is eagerly awaiting a live listening.

First off....I an 'old school' RUSH fan....whatever that means?

2112 being my first listen and Hemispheres being my first concert.

An admitted fan boy, liking 98% of all RUSH....

Of course AFTK, Hemi, MP, PeW and Sig are my go to Top 5 albums for me...

But.... With CA.... Are you F-ing kidding me....

Such an amazing effort, especially in the twilight of their career.

I instantly put Clockwork Angels in my Top 10.... and then...

After many listens it went to Top 6 ....and then even broke my Top 5 !

Maybe it is the honeymoon excitement but CA has moved me as much or more than that swirling intro to 2112 back in 7th grade (48 yrs. old now).

CA has moved me as much as my 'Rushrooms' experiences with Live Moving Pictures back in the early 80's.

CA has moved me as much or more than the brilliant and futuristic sounds that Grace Under Pressure provided.

CA has moved me as much or more than Rush's return to harder rock with Counterparts.

Clockwork Angels has touched me, moved me and rocked me as much or more than any album in 20 -30 years.

I am not ready to call Clockwork Angels the best....probably could never do that ...but....

For me....Just to think that Clockwork Angels could compete with my 35 plus years of Rush listening and 22 live shows is amazing.

I'd have to say that CA is the best album since Moving Pictures.... and I almost said since Hemispheres. Almost.

Hemispheres is THE best Rush album IMO. Or, wait.. maybe AFT Kings is... or Moving Pictures... or, Permanent Waves, or, or... ah sh**!
