Sounds like we may get 2112 like from T4E....I could handle that.

Don't want this. Even downtuned Geddy could barely sing it on the Time Machine tour.

Who cares? It's freakin' 2112!

That pretty much rules out BU2B2 then, along with maybe one or two more.

That would give us CA time of about 50-55 minutes, depending on what other songs are dropped. That's less than one of the show's three hours. Even with intermission and video time taken out, there's plenty of time for other music, possibly a large amount of deep cuts if the band are ruthless enough to drop more stuff like Limelight or Closer To The Heart (or even, gasp, Neil's drum solo!)

I honestly could take or leave the drum solo at this point, unless he changes it up big time.

I could see them not playing Closer to the Heart (last tour was the first time they've played it in a while). I wouldn't be surprised if Freewill gets dropped, you can almost see the look of dread in Geddy's face when he's about to go for the really high part. Plus they didn't play it on R30 so it's obviously a song that they feel they don't have to play every tour. Limelight, Tom Sawyer & Spirit aren't going anywhere!

I really, really hope they add Xanadu back into the set!!!

Oh and 2112 in full would be badass!

I honestly would only want to see the entire 2112 if they were playing like 3-4 songs from CA.

20 minutes for one song is just too much. Sorry.

Overture/Temples is more than satisfying for me. Those parts are what MAKE that song.

It's tough wanting to hear La Via Strangiato, Xanadu, 2112, or Natural Science without allotting half the set to just a few songs. Temples/Overture would be fine for the 2112 appearance.

I'm wondering how they'll arrange the Clockwork Angels songs. Whether it will be interspersed through the set or if they'll have more of a grouped "story" feel.

Either way, being my first Rush concert, they will not disappoint.

Exactly, It's 2112. It's mostly music anyways.

^---- Sorry to be the wet blanket, but no frigging way they make their shows any longer, let along an hour.

You know how long and exhausting these shows are for them already? There is the general physical strain and exhaustion + the added element of Geddy's voice.

If anything they may shorten the set slightly and quality-wise this probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

I think Wish them Well would be a barn-burner live.

Well, maybe it would sound better then the album version. yes.gif

Yeah. True. It is massive wishful thinking, though. We'll see!
