My first Rush concert was 2007. I was 17 at the time, so maybe that will explain why it was my first tongue.gif

FM did open for Rush in Toronto in 1981 and 1986. Max Webster opened for Rush on a few tours. I'd love to have seen Saga open for Rush back in the day. Saga played at my highschool in October 1980 and then were in Maple Leaf Gardens in 1984. They had a better light show than Rush at the time.

June 27, 1992, Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin on the second to last night of the Roll the Bones tour. I was 15 and just finished 9th grade.

It's unthinkable to me that in four days, it'll be 20 years on from then.

"Hold Your Fire" tour of 1988/9, @ the NEC Arena in Birmingham, UK.

This particular concert was filmed and subsequently used in their "A Show of Hands" video shortly afterwards smile.gif

Unfortunately I was denied (by my parents) seeing them in Hershey, PA on the last leg of the Permanent Waves tour...they didn't like who I was going with, and said "sell your ticket" which totally blew....

So after either not being able to get tickets, or having severe conflicts, I was saddled with getting to see them on the Grace Under Pressure tour for the first time. Had crappy tickets for the opening act, then due to some ticketing glitch, I was moved to the 14th row before Rush came on stage! 653.gif

That explains everything....how they were able to time-travel

thru the years to 2112!!!! confused13.gif yes.gif tongue.gif

Ok..I wonder where the time-machine is located?!??! unsure.gif cool10.gif doh.gif

9/29/84. G/P tour or as I refer to it - "the busiest day in my life". Father got remarried in the morning, played a high school football game in the afternoon, first concert ever that night. The excitement, the chills, the awe. Never will forget that day.

VT tour at the PNC center in Holmdel, NJ, then in Camden a few days later, then in Philly on the 2nd leg of the tour.

Didn't have the $$$ to see them again until the Time Machine tour in Camden.

I already have my 22nd row tickets for the Philly show in October!
