Went with VT thru CA, although the past weekend I put RTB in and enjoyed it quite a bit.

VT has great songs, S&A sounds amazing, and CA pretty much combines the two.

counterparts is a great album and RTB not too far behind so didnt like letting it down when voting for later three

VT and CA just too good though

Roll The Bones: pretty good

Counterparts: excellent

Test For Echo: pretty unlistenable

Vapor Trails: excellent

Snakes & Arrows: fair

Clockwork Angels: very good

I went with the latter 3, like everyone else so far. The score right now is 13-0! ohmy.gif

I'd definitely take Vapor Trails over Roll the Bones and Snakes & Arrows over Test for Echo. I'm not sure at this point if I'd go with Clockwork Angels over Counterparts (both are excellent), but I'm leaning in that direction. Either way, the last three albums get my vote.

This is a good poll Duck. I like the polished production of the earlier three Rush records yet I think Testicles For Echo is weak.

"Vapor Trails," "Snakes And Arrows" and "Mudwork Angels" may not be the best produced yet the are "diamonds in the rough."

Perhaps it's the sound the band has always been looking for since Neil's tragic trilogy of horrors.

Perhaps they were sick of the polished pop keyboard shite sound.

I may sound like a hypocrite now but the human opinion does indeed change like the "Red Tide."

I don't understand why there is so much dislike for "Snakes And Arrows."

I absolutely fuckking love that record.

Again, "S&A" is the best Rush album since GUP. JMO

Real Rush fans hate "We Hold On?"

What a great song! Wish it was performed live!!!!!

All "in my opinion," of course:

RTB almost completely sucked (save "Dreamline") and T4E wasn't much better. CP saves the group from being a TOTAL waste.

Current group: S&A was pretty lame (save "Far Cry" and a few other moments), but VT and especially CA were both very good... so this group is my pick for the winner.

Went with the 90's albums, almost entirely on the strength of Counterparts.

If i had to rank them, i think this is how it would go (for today):

Counterparts

Clockwork Angels

Snakes and Arrows

Roll the Bones

Test for Echo

Vapor Trails

Definitely the New Century Rush. Nineties Rush was a series of albums where, despite my best efforts, I really only liked a couple of songs off each album. In the new century, I like at least half the album, if not more.

Ugh.. I can't choose! (Although I suppose that is still a choose) I LOVE Clockwork Angels but the three 90's albums easily beat the other two so...

Not sure where to vote.

CA > T4E, CP, RTB > VT, S&A
