It's good, but I think Natural Science, La Villa, and Between the Wheels are better.

I have a soft spot for In the End. It just works as a closers.

Also love Natural Science, Vital Signs, Between the Wheels, High Water, and especially Out of the Cradle.

We Hold On is solid too.

The Garden is a gorgeous track.

Not sure if I could pick just one favorite...

There are a few album closers that end in similar ways. Repeated verses or phrases, along with a repeating jammin riff or chord progression that gives me chills as the song fades out or comes to an end. Countdown with its awesome jam and the astronauts radio chatter, Available Light with "in the available light/oh the wind can carry", but no song gave me bigger chills than the ending of The Garden. Such a beautiful combination of sounds happening here. The building strings, the awesome guitar, "it's the measure of a life"

Repeating just the right amount of times to be incredibly powerful and emotional. Just when youre thinking the song will end too soon, it doesnt and it just keeps on going. Such a satisfying feeling. I only wish that Countdown would continue like that. The fact that this song does not fade out at the end only makes it even more incredible.

The Garden got my damn vote.

ERMAHGERD! TERND TER UR GERDERN!!

Time to bring it to the stage

Amen!!!

Geddy can find some way to hit that f***ing note.

All four winds together can bring this song to life!!

23 years is long enough.

The Garden really may be the ultimate closer ever; not just its tone, but throw in the subject matter, and how do you top that?

In fact, it's hard to say that the Garden isn't the last song Rush will ever write; I can't see how you could end your career with a more perfect note.

If I had to choose a song that would play at the end of eternity, the Garden is the clear winner in every possible way.

When it comes to Rush closers I am and always will be a Countdown guy. The song's meaning/lyrics express a fascination and optimism with the potential of humanity that I find very moving. I love the contrast between the album's opener, Subdivisions, talking about feeling trapped, bored, etc. within the confines of suburbs, and Countdown beaming about the endless reach of the final frontier. Also the outro riff is an absolute gem.
