I think what will really benefit this album is that it has room to grow. Obviously I can't say this 100%, and we'll have to wait a month or so to see if this comes true. But based on the overall sound of the album, I really feel like this is going to be an album that some will like with more listens and time gone by.

So if you already like it (like I do), I think this album will actually get better the further you dig into it. And that's always a great sign for an albums longevity.

I highly agree with you on that, my friend! yes.gif

The Wreckers is fantastic.. the strings on the buildup are very intense.

One of my fav Rush songs already.

Sounds very popular to everyone tongue.gif

Whoever said Wish Them Well was similar to Out of the Cradle.. was very spot on. Reminds me of Out of the Cradle very much so.

Other than the new intro for BU2B, what differences are you all noticing between the original single release mixes and the album mix for Caravan & BU2B?

For Caravan, the bass in the jam section has been run through some sort of phaser. Sounds badass! Also during the choruses the background synths seem my ear to have been raised up in the mix and it's GLORIOUS. A beautiful thing to hear.

Also right before the end they repeated Geddy singing "In a world where I feel so small, I can't stop thinking biiiig" one more time through some sort of megaphone filter.

LOVING the new mix.

The new intro for BU2B reminds me of Led Zeppelin's "Bring it on Home" (My favorite Led Zep tune). Slow bluesy intro then BAM

Wish Them Well turned out to be one of my favorite tunes, reminds me of CP mixed with VT mixed with T4E. Sounds classic Rush to my ears.

I'm not at "favorite" yet, but I don't get the hate either.
