My prediction? Most people consider it in the realm of T4E... honestly.

What? You don't think people will like this better than T4E? Congrats. I think you are the first mediocre comment in 14 pages. wink.gif

10x listening to the 6m from MITA, then stop. To intros and to the 3 songs released.

I want to arrive hungry to June 12th.

PS It's a GREEEEEEAT album, I think trink39.gif

I don't hear any "My Favourite Headache" in any of the clips...

Another example of how irrelevant other peoples' descriptions of music ultimately are, in any situation. Everyone hears something different. I've now heard the songs compared to just about every other thing imaginable, which is just to say that no one should be worried (or for that matter, excited) by hearing someone say "it sounds like X" because maybe you won't think so at all.

I've just played them simultaneously, overlapping and they're not the same they clash pretty much. Sounds like different keys to me, different chords and definitely different tempos, the groove to the Garden is faster, the atmosphere is different.

I can't play an instrument, to my ears is yes... probably is very different, like Queen's Invisible man and the Ghostbuster theme... bekloppt.gif

Listened a few times overnight... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! This album is going to rock more than any other since... X. (Insert the older Rush album you think rocks most.)

I'm loving "The Anarchist," "Carnies" (after the 23-minute mark), and Geddy's funkalicious opening to "Seven Cities of Gold." I've played those three cuts more than the others; can't get enough!

Somebody please put these on YouTube as one continuous 6-minute clip. Then I can convert it to MP3 (using youtube-mp3.org) and play it all day on my iPod.

Great, but how do I save that to my hard drive, so that I can load it onto my iTunes?

UNREAL.....

Love it, love it, love it.

"The Anarchist" "Seven Cities of Gold" and "Wish Them Well" I think I'm going to really like.

That's in addition to "Headlong Flight" and "Caravan" which I already really like! smile.gif

Even when TFE came out everyone loved it at first. It wasn't until later that everyone got bored/tired of that album.

Well, as far as the clips go, I hear musical stylings of CP, TFE, S&A, but very much some new ideas from Alex which will be certainly unique to CA. I know it is too early to make this final. The best news for me anyways, is I hear no VT overlaying or Geddy choirs.

Right click the link, "save file as..."
