Your_Lion
QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 8 2012, 03:11 PM) Wow, very interesting list! It's got a cool mix of rock, hard rock, heavy metal, prog and blues. I really need to get more into Uriah Heep. That Jethro Tull release (unofficial?) sounds really cool. Also, it's nice to see The Groundhogs - Split on your list - great rock album that deserves a wider audience. Glad you like it...it took me a while  The Chateau D'isaster Tapes was released on a two disk set called Nightcap. The 2nd disk being a bunch of left-overs and B sides from all eras, the best of which already made it onto the remastered CD's as bonus tracks. I never really listen to the 2nd disk much, but the first disk is classic early 70's Tull. Good to see another Split fan
Rick N. Backer
I had about 75 of mine compiled on a Word doc. I left my office for the night, but left the Word document minimized. Apparently our IT guy updated my computer overnight and restarted it. The doc was gone. Â I'm going to take another stab this weekend.

Silas Lang
QUOTE (rushgoober @ May 30 2012, 04:41 AM) Any comments on my list (considering I put 8 million hours into compiling it )? My list includes several of your choices. Conversely, I've never heard slightly more than half of the albums on your list. I recall from your radio show several things from certain albums on your list (Tangerine Dream = awesome, Can = not) which were all right mostly. There's a few on there that I've owned at some point but just couldn't get into like Trout Mask Replica, Lizard, Pawn Hearts, the CSNY comp, Dr Sardonicus & SF Sorrow. My favorite was Skylarking, but it's not something I know if I'll get around to listening to again. Interesting stuff, just not quite my style... for the most part...
