It's really well structured, i especially like Monsters!, it just sounds so familiar (dun dun dun dun da da dun dun, ok thats not gonna help). I wonder why it's never played live Well, I remember reading in "Contents Under Pressure" that Hemispheres is in a really hard key for Geddy to sing in so that could definately be a reason why. dudio Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Hemispheres was the first Rush album I ever heard. I had just moved from Quebec to Ontario, and went to a house party with a friend. Prior to that I was listening to Top 40 in Quebec, and starting to get a taste for 'New Wave' music. As soon as I walked in the door and heard this music, I went straight to the stereo system to learn what it was. La Villa was and will probably always be my favourite song. I used to listen to this album at my German friends Dads house in '79 on his Marantz with 5 foot high German made speakers and we'd play the first side cranked way up, it sounded so frickin bitchin man.
