I would walk out after the first bar of Roll the Bones.

I'd stick around and laugh at all the people getting mad, then I would LOUDLY sing/air drum along. I'd even put on my deepest voice and sing the rap section while making obnoxious hand gestures. RTB is a song I love to make fun of, yet I still enjoy it laugh.gif

Some interesting set list ideas. I think we can count on about 50% classic material (Tom Sawyer et al), 30% "deep cuts" or songs that haven't been played in awhile, and 20% CA stuff.

I was looking at that last set list and thought of something After Neils solo it would be cool if Alex did his solo over the String Section going into by BU2B2 and Wish Them Well.

but it would be so much better if they didn't play bu2b and wish them well and neil played his drum solo without the big band music and lose the electronic percussion.

Think you have classics and CA mixed up.. If they do 30 songs that's only 6 CA.. I bet there's 8-9 CA songs.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think it would be great if Neil skipped his solo.

Man, some people sure are demanding, aren't they? I love watching you guys post your setlist predictions, because you make it so easy for others to determine which album you're most partial too.

Neil "skipping" his solo? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Have the world's greatest rock drummer not only abandon what he's worked his ass off to achieve, but you'd also be scrapping one of the biggest staples of a Rush concert... That's like ordering a club sandwich and then telling the cashier to take the bread and shove it up their ass.

Is this something new?

There is a tape of their first show ever with Neil. Haven't heard it in a while, and the recording is pretty bad, but no solo if I recall correctly. Granted, it was 4 song, 20 minute opening set.

EDIT: Oh, I am mistaken. Track listing at DRA shows that there is a drum solo at the end of working man.
