Is Headlong Flight the final proof that Gary Jedi "Jeddie" "Bruce" Lee is a bass-playing METAL GENIUS??

Who the hell is the METAL genius out of these few bass screamer madmen, from Geddy's era (more or less)!? ohmy.gif

*cough* Steve Harris *cough*

I'm afraid Steve is not in this poll because he's merely a bass player and does no lead vocals, backing vocals are not enough to qualify him for this poll...

Geddy Lee and Tom Araya those are my players. Both so unique and they can talk smile.gif

btw I've seen Iron Maiden twice (era 1984-1987), I reckon them always as music for kids as an overall (used to be a fan 25-30 years ago). So I'm talking about real music for adults, add Chris Squire to list too. Cliff Burton (rip) was unique. Btw so great to see Ian Hill for my fourth time two weeks ago. What an Metal bass player.

Read the question before you answer, this poll is for bass player/vocalists, those guys you mention are just bass players. Chris Squire's backing vocals and occasional vocals are not enough to qualify him, as he is always supported by a resident lead vocalist, whereas the people in this poll are alone and exposed without a safety net in their bass playing/vocal activities.

Gil Moore (drummer) sang half the lead vocals in triumph, not Mike levine.

Yep, the bassist is the only member of Triumph who didn't sing.

Phil Lynott gets my vote!! Sorry, but he blows Geddy Lee away!! Phil had more soul and passion! That's with the bass and with his vocals!!!!

Phil also had more METAL running through his veins!! JMO

The "Thunder And Lightning" album says it all!!

After the Snowy White albums "Chinatown" and "Renegade" Phil hired the six string gun slinger John Sykes and hence Phil was reborn!!

Geddy isn't a METAL GENIUS at all!

"The Sun Goes Down!"

R.I.P. PHIL! 1022.gif
