As a younger female, I definitely get some looks when I show up in Rush gear and rock out at a show. But this Muslim dude from the Toledo show just does not look like he fit in . At least it appears he was enjoying the show!

Guy.. Must've been 80+ there with his wife. She fell asleep in the second set, he only seemed to know 2112 (Time Machine tour). He was a deer in the headlights at newer songs like Far Cry and Caravan. Sweet couple though. He keot checking on her all through the show.

I'm a 22 year old female. First Rush concert I went to, I was 17 years old. I got quite a few looks. Second one, I was 20. The guys behind me were like wow you're really young and you know all the lyrics, that's really cool. Both concerts I've been offered beer lol... Such is the life of a female Rush fan.

Id say, "me" at the RTB tour. My friends had flown me in from NYC (from work) and we went straight from the airport to the show. I was dressed in a 3 piece, had a mustache and was using a cane (because I had snapped my ankle in half a month before). I definitely stood out from all the stoners around me. I did not care one bit...especially when the boys busted out Analog Kid. I was in heaven.

This poor girl from the S&A tour. She was obviously dragged to the show by (I'm assuming) her mother, who was rocking out. This poor girl was just so bored. As a parent, don't drag a kid who isn't interested. This will be the result.

The teenager that was shoved next to me during the 2010 show at Red Rocks. Mom won meet and greet and first row seats(they got there late and there were NO seats for them, so they shoved them next to me and the kiddos). He didn't know the band, didn't want to be there and texted on his phone for the small amount of time they were there. Mom took a couple pics of Neil and split! Made me mad that a fan would have loved for the opportunity they won.

I had a really tall black guy with a big afro next to me at the first leg of T4E tour. Knew every word and was jamming the whole time. When 2112 started before the first intermission he was giving high fives to everyone around him. Real nice guy but didn't look at all like your typical Rush fan.

I completely forgot about this but Dennis Rodman was at the RUSH show in Detroit back sometime between Presto and CP.. I dont remember exactly which show it was but he was there.

 

 

I also saw Magic Johnson at the LA Forum aftershow back on the HYF tour. No idea if he was actually there for the show, but he was at the aftershow party along with a few other LA Lakers.. none of which were memorable enough to remain in my awful memory.

S&A tour, I was near an older lady wearing a babushka and clothing much like my Russian grandmother's back in the sixties. Maybe she was just an old hippie but it was a bit strange. I also saw an elderly couple, maybe in their mid 70s.
