In 1968 George A. Romero released a film called Night of the living dead, ten years later he released Dawn of the dead, and in 1985 he released Day of the dead, and now 20 years later, he is releasing, later this month, Land of the dead.

The premise (if you have not seen any of these) is that something like a fallen radioactive satellite causes the dead to come back and feed on human flesh, the only way to stop them is to kill their brains.

I wan't big on the low budget black and white, bet in the mid 80's my cousin got me interested in the Dawn and the Day, they were funny and gory, but as long as one sees the humor, the special effects were fair to midland. Dawn was funny, a shopping mall. laugh.gif But Day was kind of loosing the luster a bit and threquels tend to do.

In twelve days we'll see if George A. Romero can revive a classic with Land of the dead.
