For Chicago:

US $50.50 Ticket + US $10.61 Fees/Additional Taxes = US $61.11
US $151.00 Ticket + US $12.81 Fees/Additional Taxes = US $163.81

New Jersey - $170

Just like Van Halen , they are living under a rock and don't know money is tight all around

170! wacko.gif I guess Newark is out of question.

and that $170 will be from row 10 to the very back of the first level, right?

supply and demand, I suspect theyll still fill that price level, or close to it.

$91, $66, and $46.50 at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo according to the First Niagara Center website.

That's less than I thought it would be.

That's less than I thought it would be to. I figured the highest priced seats would be $100 or a little more before the fees but $91 for the best seats isn't too bad at all.

Best value I ever had at a Rush show was back in 2007 on the S&A Tour.

$80 TOTAL - 10th Row Centre on the Floor (in London, Ontario).

1022.gif

My best was 2nd row Counterparts tour right in front of Lifeson. 30 or 35 bucks. Looking back, it seems like another universe.

Top price tickets for the Brooklyn show are $191.35 including fees.

F**k you Ticketbastard!!

I'll use Stubbhub again, if you wait till the last minute you can often pick up good seats for less than face value.

I recently got Opeth tickets for $10 below face, they came out at $30 each, TM wanted $50 including fees!

I can deal with that.

$120 is about my limit in terms of when I start to say "with!!!!"

Ticket prices for the Newark show are $148, $92.50, $67.50, and $37.50 but that's not counting the extra fees that Ticketmaster or Prudential Center add on to each ticket.

$ 37.50 = Last row

$ 67.50 = Front rows of the upper section

$ 92.50 = The section below the upper section

$ 148.00 = Everywhere else

All this without the Ticketmaster fees.

I relied on friends, for the most part, to get me tickets for the Time Machine Tour. I have no idea how TicketMaster works. If you wanna be up close, is the only way to do it to go through the VIP package?

Just like Van Halen , they are living under a rock and don't know money is tight all around

And just like Van Halen, they will sell massive amounts of tickets to people for whom money isn't that tight.

And leave many of their less fortunate fans in the dust.

It's called a budget. If a concert is a top priority, you plan for it. Just like care maintenance ect. wink.gif

exactly!

I have my budget for this tour set and rather than seeing 5 or so very expensive shows I've decided to make each one special in it's own way.

So I'm hitting opening night which will cost a big chunk of my budget.. my hometown and then one more which I havent decided on yet... possibly Philly, Houston or Toronto.

Clearly a legendary, long-lived band like Rush can charge whatever they want (and I'd probably pay it), but still, $200+ for a couple concert tickets is a slightly scary prospect ph34r.gif

Still, it's probably cheaper than hitting up an opera or seeing a Broadway show, and I'd pick Rush over those options any day. So in that light, I guess $200 isn't that crazy.

I planned our vacation to Hawaii for over a year. It cost more than a measly concert ticket. tongue.gif
