At least to me, it sounds like older rush meets VT era Rush vocals. But then again, I guess it's all just perception/opinion. All I know is, this is probably one of the better things I've heard out of them in a while. I'm impressed! However, I do feel it is noticeable that the music was written before hand and then complex and lengthy lyrics were added.
