LerxstLady Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 I do have to give him his props. The last few days, I've been having some EXCRUCIATING pain in my leg (I've only been able to sleep for about 7 hours in the last 2 days and that has to be sitting up since I can't put my leg on any kind of a surface), and he has been waiting on me hand and foot, doing EVERYTHING he can to try and help me be more comfortable. He may be a royal airhead, but his heart is certainly in the right place.

ramonesmom Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Subject: Here's an even BETTER ONE!! REDNECK VASECTOMY After having their 11th child, a North Carolina Mountain couple decided that 11 was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed. So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have any more children. The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that could fix the problem but that it was expensive. A less costly alternative, said the doctor, was to go home, get a cherry bomb (fireworks are legal in the North Georgia Mountains), light it, put it in an empty beer can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10. The redneck said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest man in the world, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me." "Trust me," said the doctor. So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count: 1 2 3 4 5 At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs, and resumed counting on his other hand. This procedure also works in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia and most places in Texas

Personally, I would take offense being called either. But, God, the C word is the worst thing you can call a woman, IMO. The connotation is so completely vulgar. Whereas, b**ch is just a tad less stabbing. In writing this, I wondered, are there any words that men take complete, undeniable offense to? I can think of maybe one, but only to those men who suffer from homophobia.
Digital Man Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I don't think there is a word you can call a man that comes anywhere close to the "C" word. I have only known one woman in my life that I would describe using that word, an ex-boss of mine. I have a few women who were bi**hes, but you you have to do something above & beyond the call of duty to cross the line to C***. My boss did this constantly. Always putting you down in front of your peers, telling you you are stupid, what were you thinking??? One day I fixed a network issue that has been going on all morning that wasn't my fault. She emailed the entire Firm saying "Scott has finally fixed the issue, after the network has gone down 3 times, but it is now fixed." That got her to graduate from "B" to "C". I wouldn't even call my ex-wife the "C" word.
